Occupational Health Nurse: Part-Time

20 hours per week --?* Benefit Eligible*



The RN Occupational Health is to independently oversee the
facility?s Employee Health and Workers Compensation programs. The RN
coordinates employee physical assessments, employee health files and the annual
influenza immunization program. The RN assures that any required annual testing
is completed for all employees. The RN will coordinate and partner with the
facility Safety and Security Officer to ensure the safety and well-being of all
patients, employees, physicians, and visitors, as well as the assets of the
facility.




West

Qualifications

Licensure:? Current Idaho RN license; compact accepted,
must obtain Idaho RN license within 90 days of date of hire.



Education: Associates degree in Nursing required. BSN
preferred.



Experience: Three
to five years occupational health experience in acute care preferred



Certifications: Current
American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support or obtain
within 30 days of date of hire



Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) preferred


Knowledge,
Skills, Abilities
: Requires office and administrative
experience, knowledge of DOT physicals and drug testing requirements and
procedures, drug testing laws, regulations and professional standards to ensure
confidentiality and chain of custody, and general knowledge of workers
compensation laws and regulations. Must demonstrate knowledge of applicable
OSHA regulations and TJC requirements related to employee health issues
normally acquired through previous employee health and clinical nursing
experience. Strong computer skills, customer service skills and presentation
skills required. Must have exceptional customer service and problem solving
skills.
