Guest Services Associate


Position Summary:

Welcomes and assists patients, their families and visitors entering the hospital. Provides excellent customer service and assistance to patients and visitors in regards to service offerings and locations.


  • Monitors the overall appearance and safety of entrances

  • Communicates information to Security, Facilities Management and/or other departments as needed

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field

  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function

  • Competent to meet age specific needs of the unit assigned

  • Requirements and Minimum Qualifications :

  • Three years of customer service experience preferred

  • Strong interpersonal skills along with the ability to maintain complete confidentiality and sophistication in social and professional settings

  • Excellent communication skills

  • MOAB training, or must acquire within 6 months of employment, required

  • BLS Required. Current AHA Healthcare provider, American Red Cross, AHA Health Saver or KH BLS during General Orientation

  • Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to lift and move up to 25 lbs.

  • Must be able to push, pull, or transport patients in wheelchair

  • Must be able to assist in patient transfer

  • Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position
