The largest medical facility in the region,Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) includes a full-service hospitalwith 318 patient beds. It serves as the region’s healthcare hub, servingsoutheast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park and parts ofMontana. EIRMC is home toa Level II Trauma Center, a Level 1 ICU (ofonly two in Idaho), and the only Burn Center inthe state of Idaho. Our ER is the mostexperienced in the region. The hospital's other specialty services include theregion's only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit capable of caring for babies born asearly as 22 weeks gestation; the region’s only Pediatric Intensive Unit, thelargest heart program in the region, a Behavioral Health Center which is a74-bed Joint Commission accredited psychiatrichospital and the region’s only Primary Stroke Center.

Position Title:  Registered Nurse  Unit Assignment: Acute Rehab Position Type:  PRN II

PRN II Defined:

 (Earn extra $1.50/hour PRNDifferential) plus other eligible shift differentials

Work Requirements:

*4 shifts per 4 week schedule (2 have to be on weekend)

*1 Major Holiday (New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve,Christmas Day)

*1 Minor Holiday (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day)

*2 Difficult to Staff Days: Super Bowl, Valentine’s Day, President’sDay, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Fall Break (UEA), Halloween, Day AfterThanksgiving, New Year’s Eve

Job Duties: *Responsible for the delivery of nursing care to the rehabilitation populations utilizing the nursing process. *Special populations include vascular, wound care, GI, ophthalmology, and bariatric surgeries. *The Registered Nurse (RN) oversees and directs the care of LPN’s and assistive personnel, maintaining final accountability for the care given to assigned patients. *When the need arises, the RN will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.We would love to talk to you about this fantastic opportunity!We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.   • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required) (BSN preferred)
  • Idaho RN License in this state (required) or compact 
  • AmericanRed Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS)and Certification

  • One-year experience in acute care (preferred)
  • Experienced Nurses with 6 months or experience will be considered
